Dallas Week

As many people may have noticed I have an unhealthy obsession with the NFL and in particular the Philadelphia Eagles. I believe it is entirely possible that if I went to one of their games I would end up booing like a Philly native.

An occasion that happens at least twice a year is called "Dallas week". Essentially it is the build-up to a Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys game. It is equilvilent to a derby week in football, such as Arsenal vs Spurs etc etc.

This week it gains extra significance, as the winner will take the NFC East and get a home game in the playoffs. If the Eagles win they will get a week off to help them recover from any niggles, while it is even possible that if Dallas win a repeat of this fixture will occur the week after.

To any Dallas fans reading this, all I say is
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
